We all have angels looking after us. I saw an angel in miniature, in black and white, like a little video playing. It was talking to me but I could not hear it. It looked just like they do on the Christmas cards, and androgynistic. Yeah, yeah, you may think, but yes it really did happen and I had it confirmed by a medium. I was living alone, and going through a particularly bad time in my life. (more…)
April Birthstone & Flower
The traditional birthstone for April is Diamond. The word diamond is taken from the Greek word “adamas” meaning hardest metal. The diamond is a member of the carbon family and is a precious stone remarkable for its extreme hardness. Diamonds are primarily mined for in USA, Brazil, Russia, Australia and Ghana and are usually colourless or tinted yellow.
The properties of the April birthstone are clarity, balance and abundance. It has long been thought that the diamond has healing properties particularly in relation to brain diseases, drawing out toxins and as a remedy to poison. The diamond is also associated with increasing inner strength and enhancing relationships. (more…)
The Odd Life of Timothy Green
Jennifer Garner’s husband Ben Affleck seems to have been getting all of the attention of late, having been the first director ever to win both the Golden Globe and the Directors Guild awards for Best Director although sadly he failed to earn an Oscar nomination for the same work, for Argo.
But as well as raising their three children, daughters Violet Anne (born December 1, 2005), Seraphina Rose Elizabeth (born January 6, 2009) and son Samuel Garner (born February 27), Jennifer has been busy making a new movie – The Odd Life of Timothy Green. It was released in America last August, but it is making its debut screening in the UK from 5th April 2013.
The Odd Life of Timothy Green is told from the perspective of Cindy (Jennifer Garner) and Jim Green (Joel Edgerton), as they explain their experience with Timothy (CJ Adams) in an effort to persuade an adoption agency to allow the couple to adopt a child.

Tired All The Time
I’m sure you realise that Doctors use shorthand to describe patient’s symptoms in their notes, and one such acronym is TATT meaning Tired All The Time. According to NHS stats one in five of us feels like this all of the time and one in ten of us suffer long term problems as a result. Of course there are medical reasons why we might feel like this – vitamin deficiencies, hormonal issues etc. that should be tested by your GP with blood tests. But for many of us it will be the way we live our lives that leaves us feeling drained and there are things we can do to beat the slump: (more…)

Exploring Hypnosis
There was a time when people only thought of hypnosis being used in stage shows – getting a group of people together to do silly things for the amusement of those in the audience, but nowadays the use of hypnotherapy is much more main-stream with people using it to help them get over a fear of flying, give up smoking and even have a virtual gastric band operation to lose weight…
But for the uninitiated what is hypnosis and what actually happens when you are hypnotised?
Well, the process starts with a hypnotic induction – getting the client into a relaxed hypnotic state. Often this will involve the client relaxing, breathing deeply, closing their eyes and focusing on an image or perhaps a story that the hypnotist tells. (more…)
Stop being Board!
Perhaps you are wondering what on earth got me thinking about board games in the first place. Maybe it is the recession and the need to find cheaper entertainment, maybe the left over games that inevitably get taken out for Christmas but not really taken seriously the rest of the year or maybe it is a backlash against the ever increasing electronic world we live in and a desire to connect to something a bit more nostalgic that doesn’t need electricity! Fear is My Friend, by Christine Wenham
From this day forward I absolutely refuse to let fear stop me from what I want to do in life!
If you feel the same then repeat this in the mirror when you wake up each morning and feel the positive vibes from the universe emerge into your life – “Fear is my friend” which simply means to acknowledge it for what it truly is. How Will Your Luck Fair in 2013?
Whether you are superstitious or not, being dealt a ‘13’ can make you think you are unlucky. Most of us can go about our daily lives without necessarily bumping into the number 13; however there are times when we have no choice. Will 2013 be one of those times?
We were all thirteen once, and apart from the start of facial spots, raging hormones and the ‘I’m bored feeling’ it is pretty much like any other year. But what if you are 13 in 2013? I bet parents didn’t consider that in their family planning…
2013 is no different to any other year, it’s still 365 days long, and at least it’s not a leap year! For anybody that suffers from Triskaidekaphobia (the fear of thirteen), this is going to be a tricky year! (more…)
