As I write this article a gorgeous bank holiday weekend of just the right amount of sun and light breeze has taken place. Being British you can’t help but wonder was that summer? I certainly hope not as for anyone visiting the Glastonbury Festival or any festival in the UK for that matter this year will know that it will be much better if the sun is shining and the ground is dry! The Real Faeries at Midsummer
Yes faeries are real. They were created from the heart of God the same as the angels were. Faeries are God’s guardian angels of nature and they ensure the health and safety of animals, plants and Mother Earth. They are clairsentient beings able to sense human emotion and are affected by it. The word fairy derives from the old French faerie, which means ‘enchantment’. My spelling of faerie here is generally recognized at the present time to be the spelling used when referring to the serious study of elemental, magical beings. Other spellings, such as fairy, usually refer to a kind of imaginary fairy in a trivial or childlike sense; Tinkerbell is the stereotypical image. However the inhabitants of Faerie Land are very numerous and varied indeed. What do faeries look like? The answer varies drastically with the type of faery you are dealing with, but they are generally small, from several inches to about three feet high. There are a few faery spirits who have the ability to take temporary human form and size and there are even faeries classified as giants. (more…)
Father’s Day – Sunday 16th June 2013
There are a variety of stories about how Father’s Day came into existence; I thought I would share one of them with you.
Father’s Day came about as a result of Sonora Smart listening to a Mother’s Day sermon.
Her father, William Smart was widowed, after his wife died giving birth to their sixth child. He raised all six children by himself, and as Sonora grew into an adult she realised the courage and selflessness it had taken her father. (more…)

However it is thought that Zeus (King of the Gods) feared their happiness and confidence and so in an act of revenge he split each human in two, leaving them forever searching for the other half that would make them feel complete. Katie & Kieran
It turns out that Katie Price married her third husband Kieran Hayler following advice from a psychic, she’s quoted as saying – “A medium said the man I’d marry was called Kevin. Kieran’s name is 
close to Kevin and it all became clear.”

Ametrine is an unusual stone, it occurs in quartz when amethyst and Citrine reside in the same crystal. The stones are mainly located in the Anahi Mine in Bolivia,
but recently a small amount have also been mined in the Brazilian state of Bahia.

In the Gaelic languages of Ireland, The Isle of Man and Scotland Bealtaine designates the 1st May. The Anglicized spelling is Beltane meaning Bright Fire. Ancient Celts saw fire as a central part of the time of year, marking the mid point between spring and summer – opening the light half of the Celtic year. Cattle would have been released back into fields driven through the burning fires to purify them and guard against parasitic disease. (more…)
Lunar Eclipse
There are three types of Lunar Eclipses – a total lunar eclipse, a partial lunar eclipse and a penumbral lunar eclipse. On the 25th April 2013 it will be a partial lunar eclipse that takes place, which will be visible from Australia, Asia, Africa and Europe. The 25th May will see a penumbral lunar eclipse which will only be seen from Africa and the Americas. A further penumbral lunar eclipse will take place on 18th Oct 2013, visible from Asia, Africa, The Americas and Europe. But we will have to wait until 2014 for a full lunar eclipse – when two take place, one on the 15th April and the other on 8th Oct although neither will be seen from Europe. (more…)
