Believing in past lives or reincarnation is where you feel that the essence of someone or their soul is born again into a different body. Many cultures and religions like Tibetan Monks, ancient Greeks, Sufis, Norse Intuit, Hindus, Native Americans as well as modern day spiritualists all believe in reincarnation. Although the way they describe the essence differs from soul to spirit, to chi, divine essence or even higher self – but the common theme is that this essence is born again following death. (more…)

The Akashic Records are considered to be an enormous vibrational library that keeps details of everything that we have done in this life and in previous ones, giving this information from our point of view and that of other people. It also holds records of the possible futures. These records go back to when time began. The Akashic Records are also referred to as the Book of Life, and, as such have nine entries in the Bible. Other terms used are Cosmic Mind, Universal Mind, Eye of God and Word of God. They are referred to in nearly every spiritual tradition and religion. The name Akasha comes from the Tibetan language, meaning unseen space or storage space. (more…)
You can think of Guardian angels as angels that are sent to personally protect us and guide us through our journey of life. These angels are different to Cherubim angels that are said to be the highest ranking angels and guardians of the throne of god. Both east and western religions believe are that Guardian angels are assigned to a person by god to serve, protect and pray to god on behalf of that person. Christianity, Judaism and Christianity all believe that god assigns each person a guardian angel for their entire life while on earth. The angels are meant to protect us from evil forces that we would otherwise have no protection over.
Guardian angels also pray to god on your behalf this may be praying for help, when you may not even be aware that you need help. Guardian angels are always facing god while protecting you and our heaven. They are knowledgeable and powerful beings and like spirits have a powerful influence on our lives in the energy that they give us. (more…)
I think it is fair to say that most women like receiving flowers, be it on Valentine’s Day, a birthday or anniversary – or perhaps the best kind for no reason at all! But did you know that your favourite flowers or the flowers that someone selects for you have hidden meanings.
The language of flowers is called Floriography; which reveals any underlying meaning to sending and receiving flowers. In Victorian times the sending of bouquets was a way of sending a coded message to someone when it was not appropriate for the actual words to be spoken. (more…)
I guess you are wondering why I have such an eclectic mix of celebrities this month? Well it is because we are celebrating the Chinese New Year – 23rd Jan 2012 until 9th Feb 2013 will be a water year and it is the year of the Dragon. All of these celebrities including Reece Witherspoon (our cover star) were born in Dragon years.
The Chinese Zodiac is represented by 12 different animals; the zodiac sign is determined by the lunar year in which you were born. The animal ruling your birth year will have a profound influence on your personality and destiny.
The Dragon occupies the 5th position in the Chinese Zodiac and is the only mythological creature among the 12 animals. The Chinese Dragon symbolises both power and influence and those that have this as their birth year are revered and are seen as destined for greatness. (more…)
Every year dust lands on earth from space; even though meteorites have crashed in to this planet since its creation it is rare to find large fragments.
Many believe that the remnants are of a planet that orbited between Mars and Jupiter; a space that is now occupied by the asteroid belt. Iron and nickel (metallic meteorites) are more common than rocky meteorites.
Then there is a group of meteorites called Tektites, these are scattered around the globe; their origins are unknown but they likely formed millions of years ago when large meteorites struck the earth. In the Czech Republic the Tektites are green and are called Moldavite’s, elsewhere they are usually black or brown with cratered pitted surfaces in the shape of pebbles. (more…)
Rune – a holy secret, a mystery that is whispered.
The runic alphabet, used by early Norse people including the Vikings, has no clear origin. The word rune derives from the Gothic word runa – meaning mystery. One of the names for a runic alphabet is Futhark, gaining its name like the word alphabet from the first few symbols in the series. Runes had no lowercase, and could be written in any direction, from left to right or right to left.
By 400 A.D. use of a common set of 24 runes had spread across northern Europe, based possibly on Greek and Latin origins. As time passed new runes were added on as the need arose, and various versions of the Futhark emerged. The fact that runes consisted of straight lines made them easier to carve into wood or stone. The largest of the Neopagan religions, Wicca is a belief system and way of life which has been based on pre-Christian traditions that originate from Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Wiccans have an overwhelming respect and admiration for the Earth and celebrate the elements throughout the year. They have eight festivals called Sabbats, collectively known as the Wheel of the Year, that are separated every six to seven weeks throughout the calendar year in which they celebrate the seasonal cycle of the Earth. The Unicorn is the universal symbol for mystics of enlightenment and spiritual transformation. Whilst its depiction often differs the mythology of it being a magnificent and elusive creature does not.
The oldest form of the Unicorn is probably the Chinese Ki-Lin in about 3000BC. Chinese symbolism describes it as one of the four spiritually endowed or auspicious creatures of the Ssu Ling; it is the essence of all five elements whilst embodying both the male /female yin and yang.
In the west the Unicorn is strongly associated with the moon; it is nearly always coloured white or silver. The mythical creature represents purity, gentleness and strength of mind – the horn a symbol of enduring individuality and power.
The Unicorn is also closely associated with royalty and is prominent in heraldry, often opposite a lion representing both lunar and solar energies.
People generally fall into one of three categories, those that prefer auditory, visual or kinaesthetic communication.
Auditory people respond to what they hear, they may run conversations in their head when making decisions.
Visual people think in a series of pictures, they may say things like – “I see what you mean” or “I get the picture”
Kinaesthetic people may need to touch something to aid their understanding. (more…)
