Of course, Stonehenge is just one of the many wonders of the world. Many people believe that there are in fact seven sacred sites globally, each corresponding to one of our Chakra positions.
The First – Mount Shasta – U.S.A
Shasta is considered to be the base and earth chakra, regulating universal life-force. It is volcanic, and it is a question of when it will erupt again, not if! As such you can imagine that the energy is like a geyser – rushing upwards, reaching for the sky, with an ever-changing shape and structure.
The Second – Lake Titicaca – South America
The Titicaca Stone can be found in Lake Titicaca in the Island of the Sun, which acts as a central geometric for the second chakra. Standing for all species, evolution, celebrating what is truly new and being born. As well, finding clarity, and overcoming a feeling that there is a lack of order or predictability in life.
The Third – Uluru – Australia
The overriding function of this chakra and sacred site is of the future, immortal health, wisdom and vitality of the Earth. Finding a higher purpose and living life with integrity are underlying themes.
The Fourth – Stonehenge – England
The fourth chakra – the heart is all about the heart and healing, and so it is with this sacred site. Think love, connection, forgiving and letting go of any grudges. Ending pain and suffering, seeing the good in the world and coming full circle in life.
The Fifth – The Great Pyramid – Egypt
The throat chakra seeks to find, know and speak the truth. Going about life without judging others, whilst not seeking approval from others. Valuing ourselves for who we are, projecting both outwardly and inwardly with honesty.
The Sixth C- Ever changing, with the new Age!
Whatever sacred site the sixth chakra represents, the third eye is the central point, bringing together psychic intuition – clear thinking, awareness and recognition and a strong connection to the astrological constellations.
The Seventh – Mount Kailash – Tibet
It is this sacred site and chakra where we are most likely to feel connected both physically and psychically. A place where seemingly random things, come together with true meaning. Where the universe and us become one. Where the power of spirituality can be really felt in all its glory!
