You can think of Guardian angels as angels that are sent to personally protect us and guide us through our journey of life. These angels are different to Cherubim angels that are said to be the highest ranking angels and guardians of the throne of god. Both east and western religions believe are that Guardian angels are assigned to a person by god to serve, protect and pray to god on behalf of that person. Christianity, Judaism and Christianity all believe that god assigns each person a guardian angel for their entire life while on earth. The angels are meant to protect us from evil forces that we would otherwise have no protection over.
Guardian angels also pray to god on your behalf this may be praying for help, when you may not even be aware that you need help. Guardian angels are always facing god while protecting you and our heaven. They are knowledgeable and powerful beings and like spirits have a powerful influence on our lives in the energy that they give us.
Islam and Sikhism believe that we have two Guardian angels and that they record both the good and bad deeds that we have done in our lives, the angels themselves are both good but they are said to exist so that we can be accounted for all that we have do in our lives. Do not confuse these with the shoulder angels often seen in cartoons that try to influence the good and bad sides of our behaviour.
Most people are not able to interact with their guardian angel as they remain silent protectors throughout our lives. However there have been some reports that people have been able to speak with their guardian angel, whether this is because their angel has been willing or has needed to communicate with them or because that person is more open to the spirit is not known. Saint Gemma Gaigani who was a Roman Catholic mystic said that they interacted and spoke with her Guardian angel. She said that it had been a teacher and guide throughout her life and had stopped her from speaking up at inappropriate times.
Although we may not all be able to communicate with our Guardian angel many of us are able to feel their presence.
